          The french pianist Antoine Bouvy developped his conception of Art by studying under famous musicians and teachers in several european countries. After post-graduating at the Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, in the class of Teofils Bikis and Sergueï Osokin, he goes on perfectioning his play by Lazar Berman, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Radoslav Kvapil, Igor Lazko and the Talich Quartet for chamber music.

Keeping a privileged relation with Latvia since his return in France, he actively participates to the cultural exchanges between these two countries. Reflection of this relation, his two last discs recorded at the Latvian National Radio, together with several leading latvian musicians (Eriks Kiršfelds, Yuri Savkin, Roman Polisadov). In 2005, he creates the "Trio Fractal" with his latvian friends and specializes in the French chamber music repertoire.

Antoine Bouvy regularly performs as soloist, or together with famous artists like the cellist Mark Drobinsky or the russian baryton-bass Vitali Romanov (soloist at the Opera of the Saint-Petersbourg). He realized several tours in Europe and in China.

Interested by all the kinds of music, he participates to concerts of contemporary music, like author concerts realized for the Goethe Institut. As accompanist, he participated to the production of the "Seven Last words of the Christ" by Haydn with the Orchestra Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and the chamber choir Accentus (direction Laurence Equilbey).

Besides his concert activities, Antoine Bouvy gave masterclasses in France, Latvia, Poland and China. Since 2008, he is a Honour Member and Jury member at the International Piano Competition in Nice.
